A creative workshop of a 3D embroidery, with great love

Do you remember a big scandal, that happened in 2018 with a painting of famous British graffiti artist Banksy? His artwork named 'A girl with a balloon' destructed itself after being sold for about a million pounds at the Sotheby's auction in London. It may be a fake, but it seems like the artist hided a mechanism for paper shredding in the lower part of a picture frame.

Stories like that one always surprised, attracted the attention and embarrassed at the same time. By the way, Banksy's biography is still highly discussed, his artworks are estimated for millions of dollars and greatly increase the value of the real estate they are drawn on.

What about a dress, which literally becomes surrounded by the butterflies while being worn on its owner? Almost real ones, they sit on the elegant attire and fly off it, surrounding the lady like a fairy from a magical garden.

That is the fantastic dress, called Butterfly Dress and created by the designers of the fashionable Turkish brand Ezra + Tuba together with Intel engineers. Made by the method of 3D-printing and equipped by contactless sensors, the butterflies keep in touch with a tiny computer module Intel Edison, built in one of shoulder pads of the dress.

All the forty light airy creatures come into action with a light move of a shoulder. They fly off the dress, surrounding the owner by the magic blue cloud, and then sit back on their programmed places. However, the owners of the Butterfly dress should use it very carefully: the energy charge in micro-cam last only for two-three flights, and if you overdo, the "life'' of electronic butterflies may end during the flight: they will just fall on the floor.

The fairy Butterfly dress is amazing, but, to be honest, not very practical. This can't be said about our embroidery T-shirt, which can be worn anywhere and anytime.

Do you know that there is a "chameleon'' rose, which changes the color under the different lightning? In the afternoon it is scarlet, in the evening changes to white. Our flower can change the color too according to the will of client, but only one time – in the first stage of an order))). By the way, you can pick up the skirt with the matching color.

A wreath, made of flowers and grass and decorated by colorful bright ribbons is one of the oldest Ukrainian symbols. It is an amulet against everything bad and evil. Our ancestors strived to protect themselves from spoilage and other evil spells and provide their family with welfare with the help of wreaths. In total, a wreath had to contain up to twelve different flowers, each of which had its own symbol. The poppy is considered to be not only a flower of dreams, but also a symbol of fertility, beauty and youth; chamomile is a symbol of love, tenderness and fidelity; sunflower - devotion and fidelity; cornflowers in a wreath - a symbol of humanity; rose, mallow and peony - symbols of faith, hope, love; mint - a talisman for the child and his health; oregano - a symbol of maternity love; lily - maiden charm, purity, virtue, divyasil - the root of the nine forces that strengthens and restores health; Immortelle - a symbol of health, heals ulcers and wounds; cherry blossom and apple trees - maternal devotion and love; viburnum - beauty and maiden beauty; hops - flexibility and intelligence; field bell - gratitude.

But periwinkle is considered to be the strongest amulet - a symbol of life and immortality of the human soul, protection from evil, the potion of love and maiden beauty, pure marriage. It was even said that if a boy and a girl eat a periwinkle leaf, love will flare up between them.

This work of art was a book of the girl's soul: in the language of flowers she expressed her feelings, state of mind, events that took place in life.

And now she appears to be not only a recognized figure in the history of art, but also a symbol of feminism. The approximate number of paintings by Frida Kahlo, according to various estimates, varies from 150 to 200. Art critics consider it appropriate to consider her paintings as having more in common with magical realism. Critics continue to ignore Frida's restructuring of her inner world, ignoring her coverage of sexuality, gender differences, marginality, female subjectivity, politics, and power. Frida became the first Latin American artist to sell for $ 8,000,000. Frida's life and art, her characteristic appearance are still used in the world of fashion. This embroidery continued the series of "Famous personalities" embroideries. We could not help but mention this legendary woman with an interesting and difficult life story. At the same time, we were very worried that the embroidery would not be able to convey the full depth of the look, tenderness and elegance of Audrey's nature, but we took a risk. As a result, Audrey Hepburn's embroidery has become very popular with our clients, it always evokes sincere emotions of admiration both for Audrey herself and for her work / technique.

Marilyn's embroidery is not like any of our previous embroideries, it seems to challenge us and say: "Yes, I'm different!". Made in the style of mosaic monochrome, with a delicate earring-bead and a penetrating look of a determined and at the same time fragile woman. It reflects in some way her life - beautiful and brilliant, but unhappy and short, filled with love for the public and complete loneliness alone. The most interesting thing is that Marilyn Monroe's embroidery received the most comments on our social networks and at exhibitions. It evokes certain emotions in almost everyone: admiration or contempt, reproach or pity, etc.

Our "Lady with the Red Cape" is a continuation of the "Lady in Red" embroidery series. It contrasts a little bit with our previous embroideries with hand-knitted elements, but we wanted something new, lighter and summerier. That's how this young lady appeared)))

One fine winter morning, our designer hurried to a meeting with her client Olga to discuss the decoration of their brand's corporate clothing. Olga knew the preferences of our artist and was already waiting for her with two paper cups of cappuccino. She wore a red scarf around her neck and her hair was tied in a bun. Well, of course, the same evening a sample of embroidery of a girl with a red scarf, a bun and cups of Cappuccino in hand was ready This girl is now wearing hoodies, sweatshirts and T-shirts, but the name of the embroidery has definitely become "Cappuccino".

This embroidery is dedicated to one of our regular customers. Her name is very rare, her name is Lolita. So we decided to embroider a beautiful young girl sitting dressed in a long knitted sweater with bare feet and pumps (these are worn by our Lolita). By the way, we noticed that Lolita embroidery is always relevant both in winter and summer.

One of the great couturiers said that the main thing is a silhouette, the rest comes up itself. A beautiful eye shape, flutteriong hair, and the rest is covered by a high collar of a sweater and given to your imagination! This is a picture of today's life: we have something to be proud of and we have something to hide. We open and close. We show and hide. Beauty and flaws. It's all in us !!! In fact, the first version of this embroidery was the complete opposite of what you see today. Earlier, this lady and a man did not go to meet each other, but in opposite directions. We thought it was not "according to Feng Shui" and people should not break up. It is better to meet, hug, give each other warmth and be happy. So we decided to "turn the picture around"))

Mystery has always attracted people. Our mysterious stranger, wrapped in a bright scarf seems to hide something from your eyes. Don't you think so?

The idea of this embroidery arose on the eve of Veles night (Halloween). Some of our clients call it "Red Moon" or "Japan". Anyway, the title does not change the content of the picture. Night, full moon, whimsical tree and mysterious birds. For those who like concise but at the same time meaningful images.

Of course, the legend of silent movies Charlie Chaplin can be easily identified with just one characteristic mustache and bowler hat))). Here everything is clear and unambiguous. Only a black tuxedo, boots and a cane remained behind the scenes. So is our embroidery: the maestro's hat is made of black fabric, and the mustache is embroidered. Nothing is extra here.

One of the features of the Mona Lisa painting is a smile on her face, or maybe its absence, who knows? Scientists are still looking for an answer to this question. If you look directly at the lips, the image "smiles", and if you look away a little, the smile "disappears". The artist managed to create the effect of a "shimmering" smile.

What we did is just tried to embody Gioconda's mystery, the secret of which is still tried to be unraveled. It happened that way. That day we were coming back to our hotel after a great walk through Madrid. Tired and satisfied, we wanted something to eat and relax to gain strength before going home. And suddenly we heard a melody .... Three violins and a cello divinely performed "Ave Maria" ... Madrid gave us HER

Once one of our clients asked to embroider a dog on a black T-shirt for her granddaughter. She sent a photo and asked that the dog to be black. "I don't know how to do it, but the T-shirt should definitely be black and the dog on it should be black," she said. And since nothing is impossible for us, we chose black velour as a fabric for the dog's face, which shimmered like real wool and looked more than realistic. Once we went to the Gesheft festival in Odessa and met an interesting man, who talked to us for a long time on various topics. And then he just asked if we could embroider someone like him. We were in a wonderful mood, so we got along without hesitation. And here you see Slavik (that's the name of our Odessan) in a plaid cap, with disheveled hair and big red lips. Sometimes embroidery options come to us in such interesting ways)))

Sometimes we "dedicate" our embroidery to various events, activities, interesting facts. This can also be said about this embroidery. One of our partners organized a business party called "This is America baby". Well, we decided to embroider the Statue of Liberty and all three of us came in these T-shirts to the party. It was fun, our partner was pleased and there is another design in our collection as a result )))

Love is an eternal issue, which always has been discussed.. The famous philosopher Empedocles once wrote that the world is governed by universal law - two forces, Love and Enmity: "At one time, Love unites everything together, and over time, enmity, everything rushes sideways. When Love wins, all the elements combine and the world becomes like a single Spyros, a ball. But at some point Hostility wins. The elements are separated, and there is a multiplicity of things. But then Love appears again, it begins to combine everything into a holistic picture. And that happens endlessly, again and again…

Why madame? Because the client who ordered this embroidery always addressed each of us very politely - "Madame Irina" or so. She liked the embroidery, so we decided to dedicate it to her and leave the name "Madame".

Embroidered things have recently become more popular than any other fashionable version of clothing decor. This trend covers not only our country, but also reaches far beyond its borders. Even the world fashion houses (Valentino, D&G and others) decorate their masterpieces with elements of Ukrainian embroidery. Yes, the popularity of the embroidered shirt is only growing, taking more modern forms, but we should remember about preserving its historical value and spirituality.

We do not claim to have the high title of a brand that makes things with exclusively Ukrainian embroidery, but we gladly use some of its elements so that you can wear our things every day, with pleasure, regardless of the occasion.

That is one of our first successful embroideries. It was just a picture of a girl in a coat and being in a hurry. But our designer has an incredible imagination: "Let's just add a red scarf and not sew it completely? Just let it hang around your neck like a real scarf! " We liked this idea, and T-shirts with a red scarf were sold out within an hour. Just a red scarf to be perfect.

Each of us had his OWN wind as a child. It sometimes lived in our head and then the adults blamed us for it. Sometimes it lived the ears and then children did not listen to adults. But most often the wind lived in the hair. This is it's house. Why don't kids like hats? The wind collects its riches in the hair: angel feathers, grass for lunar deer, flowers, rain, snowflakes, dreams and of course dreams ...

The leopard print still fascinates designers and conquers the catwalks of the seasons. Fashionable "animals" appear on literally all elements of the wardrobe - from light silk dresses to woolen coats. And our lady is simply decorated with a scarf and jewelry in its tone.

In winter all we want is a little bit of warmth, sunny days.... And we had a basket of oranges on the table ... Exactly! Tree with oranges! More so, we have not had a single similar T-shirt))))

Monochrome laconic images will always be fashionable, but we do not forget about interesting prints on fabrics that can significantly diversify the look. It would seem that you can't match this lady's blouse in blue and yellow so that it looks harmonious. It turns out you can, and just as brightly, with yellow rings))))))))).

Artists who paint women with naked bodies often risk to cross the thin line between aesthetic intimacy and vulgarity. We believe that in this case the border is not violated and this embroidery is filled with aesthetics and deep meaning. A naked woman is always beautiful and mysterious.
